Mr. Ernie
Mr. Ernie is a male red tricolored Aussie approximately 4 years old and 32 pounds who is learning what life is all about! He lived with 6 other dogs in an outdoor pen with little human interaction, so everything is new! Ernie does great with other dogs and dog savvy cats. He is medium energy and seems to do better with women then men.
He feels most comfortable outside and loves the other dogs at the foster’s house. He would make a great companion for a playful pup who needed a friend! He is very submissive and currently avoids most human contact but is learning that people are kind and can be givers of great treats/cuddles. A leash and collar make him nervous. With kindness and gentle handling he has made some progress with the leash and being with people. He crates extremely well and will sleep through the night. He doesn’t know what is and is not ok indoor behavior so it has been a learning curve which he is catching on too.
Mr. Ernie is fostered in NY.

Saga
Saga is a 55lb 10 year old spayed female black-tri Aussie. She is friendly, loves a good back scratch and the outdoors. Saga has big, soft brown eyes. She enjoys a slower lifestyle, cuddling by the fire and good snacks.
Saga has shown mild interest in cats, and is respectful of cats who hiss at her. She is pushy with the resident male Aussie and might do best in a home with no other dogs, or a younger easy-going male who doesn't mind being bossed around. She is a low-energy gal, medium velcro. She doesn't mind being in her crate and is reliably housebroken. She is good with both men and women. Though she has not yet met any children, we believe she would be fine, as she is patient and gentle. She doesn't seem interested in a ball, but has shown some interest in squeaky toys. Walks well on a leash and is learning her name. We are working on basic commands.
She is being treated for ear infections and on antihistimines for dermatitis. Saga is responding well to medication and both probelms are manageable. She is a little stiff at times, but enjoys slow walks where she's allowed to sniff and explore.
